There are rain showers off and on in the desert now, and there are sprigs of flowers in the most amazing spots, in the valley, away from the mountains.

The hummingbirds are getting feisty and frisky at the feeders and the favorite hummingbird flowers, most notably, honeysuckle varieties and hummingbird mint. They're chasing each other everywhere, making those wild chirping sounds and buzzings with their wings.
