I'm very worried about something :( |
|
So I applied to transfer universities back in March, and was given conditional acceptance in May. Due to a problem with my mailing address, I didn't recieve the official package until last week, which stated within it "This offer is conditional. Please send a copy of your final transcript with your 75 average..." Now my first year was not particular great, I had a B- average (72%) when they accepted me, and my final grade dropped to a 71%, still a B-. I'm extremely worried that they will deny my offer, and the worst part is... due to the lateness of finding out whether I'm accepted or not, I won't even have a place to stay if I have to go back to my old University :(
Hugs please :(

1. Mail them what they want you to mail them. |

Don't play head games with yourself. It's a drag, I know, but just plow through it. I know about this stuff and am still going through it at an age near 50.
Here:

3. did you know that they required a 75? |
|
Or does this come as a surprise? They did accept you, after all. In any event, try not to worry...and here's a big
Keep us posted.

My thought is, with a 75 you are 100% accepted, with *almost* a 75, you're *probably* accepted. At least that's how I hope it is. The sad part is, had I gone with my first instinct and dropped history, I wouldn't be in this position :(

just send them what they want and see what happens. My fingers are crossed for you that it all works out. Your average is close to the requirement, so you never know!

6. Wishing and hoping for the best. |

I agree with the others...send them what they want and then see what they say. That's all you can really do at this point. I would hurry up and arrange a Plan B...I don't think it's too late, at least give it a try and see if you can get into somewhere else.
