but it wouldn't be fair to the dog. They require so much more attention than cats, and we just haven't the time to give it.

9. Petey is the sweetest cat I've ever known.

He's tender and gentle, extremely affectionate, avoids strangers (makes me wonder if feral cats pass on some kind of anti-human-contact genes), and has the tiniest little voice in the house.

OTOH, if you're one of the other cats and you start picking on whomever he feels like protecting, LOOK OUT! He'll be all over you in a heartbeat.

Oh, yes -- and one of the vet's receptionists is also in love with him and threatens to steal him every time we go in.

If we've ordered a pizza we must banish all cats from our laps, because with that knock on the door, all cats BOLT. If a cat is in the lap, a pizza meal is usually followed by a trip to the ER for stitches. Buncha fraidy cats. :D

5. Is Harry's nose really that color?

It looks like a beautiful shade of Indian red or a light shade of Oxblood. And the EYES! Beautiful kitty. Ok, ok they're both beautiful.

My Yorkie sleeps with us in bed just like your other kitty :)
