Back today from my first visit to California

Flew to Sacramento to visit friends. We were in San Francisco for three days and went to Dore Alley on Sunday and had lot's of fun. I have never felt so gay (the partner and I kept saying we could die happy because we had finally visited GayMecca). We all had a great time. San Francisco really is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen.

Below is a pic of the bf and I (I'm on the left) from a stop on the car ride to San Fran.

Nice pix, btw. I'm glad you had such a nice first visit to CA and SF. Yes, it's a beautiful area. We live about 70 miles south of SF, just a bit north of Santa Cruz.

2. Right back at ya, from a very hot and humid Motor City

I did not miss this humidity. I took my dog for a walk, and we're both just chilling in front of the air conditioner now.

It was bizarre, but nice, how cool the temperature got in San Francisco at night.

3. I hear ya, bud. We just got back on Sunday from two weeks back east

we were in VA for a week and WI for a week. The humidity was unbelievable!!! I'm soooo happy and grateful to be back home, in our typical summer pattern of cool morning fog and sun in the afternoon. Yeah, back there, AC is a real lifesaver, right?

We did get to see the fog rolling in (very cool; reminded me of the movie The Fog).

No fresh fish, though. I am not a lover of seafood.
