Y'know that song that goes "Urgent, urgent. Emergency. Urgent urgent..."?
Is that about a booty call?

3. Well, of course it is!

On that record, Lou Gramm turned in one of most sex-charged vocals of all time! And Junior Walker's sax playing was't too bad, either. ;)

4. Actually, if memory serves, it was about drugs.
"Got fire in your veins, burning hot, but you don't feel the pain
Your desire is insane, you can't stop until you do it again"

It's a drug song, masquerading as a sex song.

5. Maybe it's perception... at the time I was having a lot of sex...
...who was doing a lot of drugs then?

6. Rock stars were doing a lot of drugs about then!

Hell, it was the middle of the cocaine binge that was the early 80's.

Never did 'em myself (I'm an anti-drug Democrat, if there is such a thing!), but I recall Lou Gramm talking about this song in an interview and saying it was about how drugs take over your life and everything then pales in comparison, including sex.

Edit: I better clarify my "anti-drug" statement (a flame war waiting to happen!) I personally have no need or desire for them and never have. I do favor stuff like medicinal marijuana, drug law reviews, etc.
