A little DU acronym help please!

and PIAPS = Pig In A Pants Suit

but what does "meme" stand for, and "BBV"?

Can any think of other acronyms seen on the DU that you can decode for us?

I think it would help a lot of new DU'ers,

The theory is that once a meme is loosed and repeated ad nauseum in cultural discourse it will become accepted as fact. This is how the media brainwashes the sheeple. Usually there is just enough truth in the concept to allow for the willfully ignorant to suspend disbelief enough until they believe it.
