HEyHEY to the rescue!
There I was, taking pictures on the local bunny hill. When suddenly I hear "Pizza Pizza" I turn to see a young child maybe 6 years old barrelling down the hill out of control, one adult tried to grab him and missed, it was up to me "Pizza wedge Sam, Pizza Weeeeedggggee!!!!" Was all I heard then, bang I held out my arm and caught the kid. His momentum spun me and I fell down holding him with both arms.

"How's it going, " I said. "Fine," he answered.

The little bugger almost knocked the wind out of me. .

Seriously it was that dramatic or heroic....I just thought it was funny the mother was yelling "Pizza!"

(Pizza refers to pizza wedge, the shap you make your skis to be when you wanna stop, it creats kind of a plow, the kid forgot."

Well, I gotta go back to the hill now.

2. Maybe the kid was hungry for French Fries...
...and kinda forgot about 'pizza' in general.

Seriously, though - good job!

3. Pizza, yes that would be better than yelling SPREAD YOUR LEGS APART
which is what was heard on a chairlift in Vermont a few years ago when a guy was chasing down the hill on his skis after his date who was almost out of control.

5. Ah, I meant "Not that heroic"
It was just funny, now everyone thinks I'm an ego case...I'm going to the garden to eat worms.

6. The last time I put skis on...
I took four people down as I slid out of control just off the chair lift.

None of the people who rescued me said anything like "How's it going?"

Instead one of them said something very very nasty to me.
