One of my friends just called a few minutes ago

All of my friends that I could not contact yesterday are accounted for.

My empathy and sympathy goes out to all the folks that were not so fortunate.

I am sending energy to those workers coordinating the rescue and recovery. I cannot imagine...

I had no idea what was going on, and if I hadn't found out from your thread, I might not have called soon enough to be able to get a line through, to check on my little sis and best friend whom I was panicked about.

My parents didn't get through in time, and because I'd reached my sis and her fiance (who works on bridges,:scared: ) we all knew she was okay.

You are so on top of things!

I really appreciated it.

and a DU'er who lives there told me she saw the bridge just after it collapsed and that her husband had driven across it and felt it shake earlier in the day.
