Heard this for the first time today:
"helicopter view"
I laughed so hard I blew snot bubbles.
Lucky I was on a conference call.

1. "360 degree slam dunk" |

This said by a weedy little guy who probably couldn't lift a basketball, to denote his team's facility in writing a (according to him) particularly tricky bit of code.
Other favorites fall into the category of "military terminology." Why is it that sedentary men in suits have such a need to frame their daily activities in militaristic terms? Mmm, on second thought, I think I answered my own question. It starts with naming the conference room where the "team" will be working the "War Room." I even had one boss who had a rainbow-colored "DefCon" poster put up on the wall. He'd then advance the "defcon" as we got closer to the deadline.
