16. If I played guitar, I'd probably go for a Rickenbacker.
I'm considering a Rickenbacker as my next bass though.

24. I was originally inspired to want a Rickenbacker by Peter Hook.
Then I found out his was actually a replica made by a company called Hondo, haha. But I still want an authentic Rick.

13. A sentimental vote for the telecaster. Two nights ago I dreamt I was a roadie/guitar tech....
for CSNY. What is odd that I'm not guitar tech, rather a life long guitar hack.

15. Well, I have a confession...
I don't play a telecaster. I'm a hack, I play a 1975 US made Fender Bullet. At least its not a "squire".

18. I think I've noticed more SGs in bands in the past 5 years than when it was introduced.
And it MUST be red.

22. It was the Woodstock movie that did it for me
Watching Carlos Santana strangle an SG to death playing "Soul Sacrifice" made me pick up a guitar in the first place. I was about 13.

Somewhere in the past 5 days I've seen a video of Santana from that era. You're right on target.

32. Each does different things.
Sometimes you need the heft and sustain of a Les Paul, sometimes you need the glassy tone and trem capability of a Strat.

It's all good.
