I used to be on Concerta(time released Ritalin) 72 mg per day, and now I'm on Adderall XR(time released) 30 mg in the morning, and another 30 mg around 4 pm. I take it for my ADD and also just to stay alert during my shifts at the station(i'm a cop).
It is a great drug and gets a lot of bad press because of stoners and college kids who abuse it by snorting it or taking more than they should, and some get addicted. But it's a very good drug for keeping people more alert and more focused, and also for keeping weight down.
