I think I'm out on the street until I find a new apartment
things have become toxic with my housemates. My ex has agreed to keep the kids until I find a place but I'm not sure what the dogs and I are going to do. I think I'm going to put my plans for school on hold until next year and get a second job with a temp agency instead. That way I can have a little reserve in the bank and won't feel like I'm constantly in fear of living in a cardboard box.

I cannot believe how fucked up a life can become in just a matter of months. Yay for the thriving economy!!

1. Damn. I'm sorry.

I hope you find a much better place to live, and I hope you are able to build that reserve.

2. Sorry to hear that.
If I lived in Wisconsin, I'd let you rent the basement for $1 a month.

3. I'd take you in, but now that my son has moved in, there's no room
I'm not sure there's room for my son.

4. Update
We've managed to work things out to a degree that we can all live with and the disaster is averted -- for now. I'm definitely going to get the job with a temp agency though so that I can build the nest egg. I should look for something like overnights at a gas station where maybe I could get some studying done while getting paid.

5. Yikes! You didn't find shelter with your mom?
(I'm thinking you were at your parent's place?) Not criticizing you if the toxic thing is between your parents and you, I can completely understand, I could never live with my mother again. Just wondering....
