The flu: Nothing that 48 hours of sleep won't fix! |
|
I'm officially fully awake and upright for the first time since Thursday night, although still feel like %*(*$#^(**(^&^! I suspect I'll feel better once I have a long, hot shower and get some of that wonderful-smelling arroz con pollo Tony's cooking into my belly.

I have had the damn bug for about four weeks now & can't shake it! The weather in South Florida has been so wxtreme, one day this way the next day that way, it's messed my whole system up.

2. I was starting to worry |
|
about you! I figured if I didn't see you around tomorrow I was sending an alarmed PM. Glad you are up and a bit better. Enjoy your shower and dinner and don't over exert, (That is the nurse/mother in me. Ignore at your peril!).

3. Tony's been 'mothering' the heck outta me! |
|
I plan to take it easy tonight and tomorrow and MAYBE go to work Monday---IF I feel up to it. At this point, I'm more worried about the ice storm that's headed our way. The weather report doesn't sound very good at all.
Thanks for your good thoughts, love!

5. He's been quite busy, I see. |
|
Well, he was here at home mothering me, and I'm glad he took the opportunity to get better-acquainted with everyone. He's quite intelligent, although he doesn't think so. I just love modesty in a handsome guy! ;)

6. Us too! 1/4 to 2 inches of ice headed our way. |
|
I managed to get a big bale out for my horses and if the electricity stays on at the farm (sure it will, lol) I should be OK. That 10 mile trip at 6AM on an icy morning is NOT fun. Sounds like a good day for you to stay in and let Tony mother just a little bit more.

He went to Mass earlier this afternoon, so he's not planning on going out tomorrow, either. We're going to just stay in and make a day of it. :)

8. wondered why I hadn't seen anything from you lately |
|
glad you are feeling a little better. We have managed to avoid the flu here, but my son has a cold - and he even had a flu shot. The weather here has been cold, snowy, miserable, and everyone seems tired of it. Can't wait for spring and crocuses.

I got a flu shot, too, but it didn't seem to help. The weather is miserable here, and even deteriorating. UGH!
