i bought a mac yesterday. what should i do
with the crazy bag they gave me? it has drawstring thingies on the sides, like a back pack, it is made out of something like tyvec, and it has the apple on it.
i sorta have to reuse something like that. but i am kinda old for something so geeky. i don't usually carry any kind of bag around, and i bought a nice bag for the macbook.
give me some ideas for the appropriate use of an apple store shopping bag/backpack.

1. Give it to a homeless person
They might enjoy the geeky look.

3. Modify it w/ applique/paint/markers, use it as a shopping bag.
Give it to a thrift store.
Give it to a child.

4. You got the greatest, and it should be easy to figure out for the average
person. But then again....

5. Farmer's market?
I keep bags like that in the trunk of my car for the grocery or Costco or the farmer's market.

6. You could use it for assorted pieces of rubber clothing
Don't ask me how I know that, it would probably get the thread locked and me pegged as a pev!

8. It's plastic, right?

Find a local grocery store that recycles plastic shopping bags.
We have a few of them here in CA.

That's a lot of plastic that can be put to good use.

Congratulations on your new Mac.
I'm typing on my 5 year old PowerMac G4.

;-)

10. don't think it would recycle
it is tyvek type material, with strings and some little metal bits for the strings. definitely meant to be reused.
my local store does recycle bags, tho, which is what i am going to do with the rest of the bags that stick to me when i am not looking.
