May I point out that Qwest SUCK?

I've been trying to get DSL for YEARS at my house. I saw Covad prequalify my line as 1.5/384. Great, that's what we need to get out of our suck-ass Comcast (damn people downloading porn on MY bandwidth). Covad came by, installed the line, tested it, failed, determined it was the Central Office.. went back and tried to fix it, and set up another appointment ... yesterday Covad came by, and tried again, only to determine the the Central Office still isn't working.

Guess who owns the ILEC? (Central Office) - You got it. Qwest.

We called Qwest years ago, and they prequalified us at 256k/256k. No thanks. Funny thing, the house just down the street (3-4 houses down) is humming happily along at 1.5/786!!

Covad cancelled us, apologizing that it was a technical issue (hint, it was Qwest), so I need to send back their modem and stuff.

I can't wait to move out of this dump of a house.
