that back in the 60's, people rode around in this kind of heat without A/C? It was a Serious Option back then. If it was even offered.

16. I'll never forget the first car we got with A/C.

My dad was in sales and prior to that, he would come home 3-4 times a day to change his shirt.

That first car with A/C was pure pleasure.

I read an article awhile back on the effect of A/C on the growth of cities in the South. Atlanta, Birmingham, etc. were towns before 1950 or so. It said that A/C in homes and offices was the #1 factor for the boom in Southern cities.
