very blue skies, started out chilly but into the high 60's by afternoon. gonna get out on my bike tomorrow.

truth be told... too humid there... and yes - my years out west made me a wimp in cold weather. Well I was always a wimp in cold weather - that was the worst part of living in Michigan.

I'm relieved that I don't have to share space with anyone.

I jealously guard my personal time. I don't share often, and I'm picky about how I share. I thrive on solitude.

I'm rarely bored; there's always a stack of books at hand. As a matter of fact, I should choose one right now.

Should I reread Riane Eisler's "Chalice and the Blade?" Should I grab Kingsolver's "Poisonwood Bible?" Or should I pick up the stack of kid's novels to preview before taking them in to my classroom?

Hungry? I have some organic italian sausage just done in the kitchen, and a frosty bottle of Samuel Smith's nut brown ale. I'm going to eat some sausage and curl up happy with my beer and my book.
