drinking riuntie lambrusco |
|
I like cheap wine, so sue me.
Sitting here at my keyboard, drinking riunite lambrusco and listening to pink floyd. Kid and wife out of the house for the weekend. Fortress of solitude.

and listening to Talking Heads. About 8 inches of snow on the ground - expecting another 8 tomorrow. Hope I don't run out of wine!

9. This is an excellent topic |

I've recently switched to wine from beer and for the life of me can't tell the difference from a good red merlot and a cheap merlot...
I can tell a bud from a bass but when it comes to wine, I'm lost.

3. Some of the cheap wine is the best... |
|
I could sit and drink a lot of Arbor Mist, and that stuff is five bucks a bottle. Riunite is actually pretty decent wine. My mom, who owns a liquor store, sells a lot of it. Duckie

in a big glass with seven up and a lime twist. Not too bad. Plus you get a fairly decent buzz.

I've been having a glass of wine most evenings for the last month or so. I have never been much of a drinker. But you know what? After drinking a glass or two most nights for a month, my cholesterol test came back at 185 with excellent triglicerides and lipid profile. My previous test was 220. Only difference was drinking red wine every night.

10. Tastes like Grape Nehi! |
|
Or if it is really cheap, it tastes like the Dimetapp Grape Elixir that you took for a cold as a kid.
Either way, I have drunk worse and enjoyed it, so take pride in your Rijuniti Lambrusco!
Note to the wine snots: I figure it is from the grape and if you like it that is all that matters. If I pay too much per bottle it is no fun!
