Just got back from the Simpsons Movie. Meh.

The one really good gag was Bart's naked skateboarding. The rest: underwhelming.

...and I'm a big fan of the TV show. :shrug:

2. I'll give it a Meh-plus;

It was like a pretty good episode, by the standards of the last several seasons. Nothing close to the level of the episode where Lisa became a vegetarian, or Bart and Lisa playing hockey against each other, or Homer's vision quest induced by Guatemalan insanity peppers, mind you.

But there were som good bits (Homer flipping the double bird; Smithers' reaction as Apu appeals to Mr. Burns to look in his heart, etc.).

3. Meh. is about right.

It rehashed every annoying episode, with no improvement. The only funny part for me was spider pig and harry plopper.

4. I liked the church people/bar patrons end of the world bit.

Enjoyable overall.

I gave it two doodles up.

About 75% of the way in the video got messed up and crashed VLC. I was not interested in downloading a different torrent of it to see how it ended. Meh^2
