Dark and wet and pondlike....

But, bizarrely, not unpleasantly so! I quite like it. I don't really know why.

Perhaps because it's refreshing. The rain is light and warm and fresh smelling and lots of green things are pushing their little leaves out all around in a lush green growing sort of way, long past when the growing season should have stopped.

I have started growing my own herbs. I am making parsley and rocket happen. Therefore, I now like rain. It makes me feel mildly optimistic.

Is Texas sticky and horrible, then? How about a nice big water fight? :D
