How nice to hear today from an hourly employee at a place to remain nameless. It made me ill. I felt guilty that I have a decent job that gives me paid time off.

So do you get an accrued time off in your job?

1. Because i'm a consultant, and we get paid by billing our clients

we don't get much time off. 10 days including all sick time and vacation and personal days.

But because I have a disability and medical issues they don't both to count my sick days anymore. It's a small company so they can do that pretty easily. I'm sure they count how many days I take off, but they don't limit me or seem to worry about it.

I can't be easily replaced and I work a lot of overtime so I think it balances out.

Will go up to 5 in a couple of years.

3. Dude, ACT III.. The theater chain bought by Regal..

No overtime, no holiday pay, no vacation. I was working 60 hours a week without overtime. They would schedule you for 1 hour per week if you bitched.

4. What a sucky place to work.

i was at one of their theaters last weekend and there was piss on the floor in the mens room. x(

The whole place was disgusting. They oversold the theater so people who couldn't find seats were angry.

And they treat their employees that badly. I hope you can report them somewhere and get your overtime you are owed. There has to be a place to file a labor complaint.
