VIDEO: Katrina Animal Rescue. (**Warning: Happy/Sad Video**)

I just watched this, and wanted to share with you. There are two main reasons why. 1) Let us NOT forget the two-legged and four-legged creatures who lived through this, and 2) let us not forget those who worked so hard to save the animals who fell victim to Katrina, and to the ineptness of the current adminstration.

I found a lot of hope in this video. I hope y'all do too.

1. There must have been 5,000 dogs in LSU Tiger Stadium

in Baton Rouge when I was there, I was working with another group at the time, but a friend of mine
that was there asked me to help them run a couple of van loads of dogs to the airport to go to their
new homes.

I never saw that many dogs in one place, quite a site. :hi:

2. I knew it'd get to me but I looked anyway

Those people who helped animals are Angels, it gives me some hope in people to see how many of them took that on in the middle of the chaos.
