5. He does about one appearance a year in Detroit
Comes to town and shows a movie at one of the local theaters, complete with all his antics. People line up for blocks to get in, but still nobody will put him back on TV.

6. I read about Cheez Whiz in another post
And whenever I think about it I always harken back to the Ghoul.

To an 11 year old, it was the funniest shit on TV.

Nobody was ever as good as that guy

7. Ghoulardi was even cooler than The Ghoul.
He did all that stuff first. He immortalized white socks in Parma!!!

Not to mention Handsome Downstairs Neighbor Jerry Kriegel, later known as Big Chuck.

Such memories....

(But if you're too young to remember Ghoulardi, then The Ghoul hadda be the next best thing.)

9. To bad I missed Ghoulardi
The Ghoul though, immortalized the crawl on the bottom of the TV screen.

Always good funny shit during some lame-assed horror flick.

Compared to the Ghoul MSTK 3000 are untalented upstarts.

3. The Ghoul?
I remember his predecessor, Ghoulardi. Now, that's oooooold!

A friend of my sister's went to school with Ron Swede, who played The Ghoul. Don't know what he's up to these days, though.

12. I've got a Ghoul t-shirt
Talk about a rare commodity. It was made by WKBD (Detroit) back in the 1970s, when they were still an independent station.
