Another Poem
I wrote this a little over a year ago for my then girlfriend. We were pretty serious for about 9 months, then we went to different colleges in different states. Still like the poem even though she's been a bitch lately.

Alligator Eyes

I look at you with alligator eyes,
Thoughts saturated by
A deluge of cosmic oddities,
Yet this infinity

Of doubtless seredipity
Seems to thrive in every
Garden. Perhaps we are not
An orgasmic nebula, but

Certainly a diamond cut.
My penguin waddle breath
Always sizzles into
The effortless clang

And the usurping bang
Of a Newton's Cradle,
My lacksidaisical kernels
Erupting into a jubilee

Of popcorn. The waters above
Lingering in itchy anticipation
At the Jeffersonian arrival of our
Nonexistent donkey lies.
