Poor little stick (we call it my mom's stick because that's all it was when she got it) may be giving up the ghost soon. Between a freeze that did some damage and the brat up the street breaking off 2 *large* main branches, she's looking pretty bad this summer. Damn shame, it's a japanese maple, so pretty, but this past year had been hard on it.
