I'm having cataract surgery on Thursday,,
should be a breeze from what everyone else who's had it says, and I'm REALLY, REALLY looking forward to seeing well again.

I'm left-eyed, and my left eye managed to get this huge cataract that makes it look like I'm looking through brownish frosted glass. Not the worst thing on the scale of bad things, but it does kind of suck.

2. Good luck. My mother had it done and I got to watch on a video screen.
It was quite interesting.

3. I used to work in an opticians as a Saturday boy when I was at school
the number of patients who would rave about how wonderful their cataract operation was amazed me (I'm particularly squeamish about my eyes and only just managed to get onto contact lenses).

Fingers crossed and looking forward (pun intended) to a successful outcome.

4. Good luck, TB

Have had both eyes done with no problems. Be sure and take
good care afterwards, though. Don't even have to use glasses
any more. You will love the results.

5. My mother just had this done, and she was surprised at how...
little pain she felt and how quickly she recovered. She was out working in her garden that night!

Good luck, TB! :)
