I'm going to try and perfect the art of the "zero replies" Lounge thread

Like writing a truly awful poem, it's not as easy as it sounds. Being -mediocre- is easy, and almost everyone can do it without thinking. But I think being truly unimpeachably awful in a way that transcends mediocrity takes a certain quality I would call "anti-genius." It's a uniquely bad and uninteresting thread that generates views but zero replies. Juvenile word-replacement humor is obviously out. :D What works best?

1. Well, I recently had a thread sink into oblivion with absolutely no responses

it was basically announcing my opinion about a relatively new TV show called "Mad Men" that I think is pretty decent.


Everyone was absolutely THRILLED. :eyes: Not. :D


So, based on my experience, I'd suggest starting threads in which you make comments about things nobody has any interest in. Hmmmm...therein lies the rub.

We're a diverse group, we are! :hi: Good luck in your quest.
