I haven't eat in 7 days!
Yesterday I called 911.I think I have an ulcer but I can't eat ANYTHING!

I feel so weak,it's horrible!I have to take a medicine until I take an exam in 3 weeks

to confirm that's an ulcer.Gee!

Right now i'm trying to eat something that's not too hard for the stomach, first meal in 7 days.

It doesn't hurt to much...I hope it last...

7. Pedialyte is an electolyte drink that is usually given to
infants and small children to avoid dehydration. I have had an ulcer before, and I had the WORST acid reflux while I was pregnant, so I know how you feel. Hell, water made me sick...

14. FYI Pedialyte you can get at the grocery store or the drug store.
It's very available. I had a really bad kidney infection a couple of years ago and I still have some Pedialyte popcicles in the freezer.

5. Sorry you're feeling poorly, jeff.
if you haven't eaten in 7 days, I'd go with something really simple, like a vegetable broth or something. Keep it light. Maybe some sort of fruit protein smoothie would be good, too.

It seems crazy that you can't get an exam for 3 whole weeks. What's up with that?

 Good luck!

9. Thanks for your concern dear Shine(BTW It's a a great Nick!)...
Yesterday I called 911 and ended up at the Emergency.

And they did some tests and prescribe some medicines ,waiting for more info.

I have to do some tests (endoscopy) and then I will know. But the pills they gave me

are doing a great job. Thanks for your concern !:)

8. That's very odd that you can't get an exam for 3 weeks
Most ulcers can be detected pretty easily with a blood test (I had dreadful ulcers for years) and they've discovered that most of them can be treated with antibiotics.

An empty stomach will actually make it worse. I'd try some broth and maybe dry toast. And good luck.

10. Hi skygazer!
Him a Canadian.

Of course the system is a little bit slow but

the doctors just want to see the effects of the pills

before going to do the endoscopy. But if I had an appointment,I

would have to wait 1 week or two unless their was an emergency.

Thanks for your concern!

17. When you do start eating...
try using recipes that use olive oil. I just read an article about how olive oil can knock out 8 different strains of the powerful bacteria that causes most peptic ulcers. Three of those strains antibiotics couldn't even defeat. Use virgin or extra virgin oil in your cooking in the future.

21. They hurt very much!
My dad had them and I remember him eating a lot of saltine crackers and milk...a bit of sugar, with them (like cereal). Try that. I hope it helps. You may also have some form of GERD. I take "the purple pill" for that and it helps.

I hope you feel better soon
