you never know about bid #1.

I agree you never know about the first bidder.

If possible, maybe re-bidding. If the bids were close sometimes sellers would prefer to sell to someone they trust would take good care of the place like they did. If money is equal then other factors come into play. If you can take the money out of the equation, that could put you a leg up.

9. The real estate waiting game is a roya beyotch.....

I bid on 4 different houses before we got this one. But believe me, we have found that this one really did end up being the best one for us as far as size, location, price, etc.
