A small, heartfelt request

For those of you who are baking in this heat wave, if you think about it, please donate a bottle, six-pack or a case or two of bottled water to your nearest homeless shelter. While some homeless people manage to find a cool place to go during the day, some don't and when they come in to the shelter at night they are parched. Even if they do get sheltered during the day, it's **always** a good idea to stay hydrated in this weather.

Also...some come in with extremely bad sunburns...aloe vera or any other sunburn medication would be greatly appreciated as well.

(As would monetary donations so that shelter staff can get supplies in bulk, too...)
