25. I haven't been around much, because I lost June to being sick (really,

the entire month...it was truly dreadful for me and horribly frightening for Mrs R), then spent July catching up on the work I didn't do in June, then we went to Vermont / New Hampshire for 5 (desperately-needed) days of vacation, which was enjoyable except for the part when I got attacked by a moose, though I can't blame Mr Moose for getting honked off at me, being that I invaded his personal space and all, but not to worry because I did manage to get into the car before he reduced me to a puddle of Redstone Jelly With Camera, and I'm still a bit tired, can you tell?

I do hope you get out of the Agate Graveyard Shift, and that the other stuff clears up as well.

(I'm a "class act," am I? Well then you, The Lady of Many R's, must accept the fact that you are a peach. So there.)

38. Pictures to follow, probably tomorrow night. And yes, I'm pretty much recovered;

I managed to do all that work during July without triggering a relapse.

I actually (yes, it's true) learned a lesson from what happened in June; I'm paying real attention to pacing myself, such as remembering to take the 20-minute midday break on the couch, and stopping work when Mrs R sees the warning signs and tells me it's time to quit for the day.

Christ, getting older is no damn fun...but it still beats the hell out of the only alternative.
