Well I guess I blew that interview |
|
If they gave jobs for being rambling and incoherent, I would be a shoe-in (shoo-in?? not sure). I answered all the questions mostly correctly I think, but I was so nervous. I am not really that good under pressure. I don't really think I have much of a chance unless everyone else drops out. :banghead:

I thought I completely rambled my way out of the job I currently hold but... Well, I currently hold it so I must not have been TOO bad.

Who knows, the others might have been more incoherent than me? I think it was just nervousness.

7. Do I write one to the hiring supervisor? |
|
Or to the whole panel? The supervisor is actually my current boss, not sure if that matters.

11. The entire panel. Talk about why you are a good fit for the position. |
|
Personalize them. Think of something each individual said or asked and comment on it. "Thank you for asking me about my experience with...." or "Thank you for sharing with me your thoughts about....."
Good luck.

4. Next time go in with the mindset that you are interviewing them. That |
|
their questions have to meet your needs in a job. That you don't want a job you can't do or a job that you would not enjoy.
Worked for me.

8. The questions were related to the job KSA's |
|
They were very specific questions. More like an oral exam or something like that. None of that "What are your strengths and weaknesses" stuff.

10. we usually don't come off the way we think we do |
|
we're all our own worst critics i think (few exceptions) but i bet you did fine, and if you weren't nervous when interviewing, I'd wonder if you were too impressed with yourself :P
good luck!
