1. What's the best bike ride you've ever been on?

3. I am a very timid rider.

I haven't been on a bicycle for about 20 years, and even then, I was a real chickenshit.

I did catch a motorcycle ride with my buddy Dillon back in 1989 from Ripon, WI to Chicago to catch a Cubs game at Wrigley. My rear end was numb for most of the game, but it was also one of the best experiences of my life.

So that bike ride was the best one ever.

I am spending the entire evening ALONE and I am so loving it!:bounce: Mr MB is on the road for work and Little MB is at her dad's house tonight. It's just me and the old dog. She's curled up on the couch with me and we are snuggling.

5. I'm not sure yet.

Last I heard, the subways are still flooded. So I'm not sure how I'm getting home. This is the worst time of day to try to catch a cab.

If I have to walk all the way across town, or worse, if I have to walk all the way downtown to catch the ferry then this will be a challenging evening.

I am really, truly hoping for a relatively easy commute. :)

I can't believe the subway is still flooded. Is there someone you can hail a cab with together down to the ferry?

17. The problem is that this is the time of day

when one shift is going off duty and the other is going on duty, so there is the least saturation of cabs and the highest demand.

We'll see how it is outside, but I expect to be standing for a while waiting. :(

18. I forgot about the shift change. That happened to me the last time

I was in NYC in May.

It took me almost an hour to get a cab.:-(
