7. Yes--car accident

Although I thought I hadn't been--I guess I was only "out" a few seconds. When the policeman opened my car door he asked if I hit my head on the windshield. I said no; he smiled and pointed to the GIANT crack in the glass with a strand of my hair hanging out of the center of the break. Oops. 'Course, I had more pressing things to worry about, as I was bleeding profusely from my lower lip and knee. (Gorier details left out for the faint-of-heart among us.)

I wrecked my scooter and wasn't wearing a helmet (I was in the grass and pretty drunk), high-sided into my face, tried to stand up to say, "I'm ok" but what came out was "blajdhfugh..." and I fell over. I wasn't out for long, but it took me a few moments to piece together the details of what had just happened.
