Hats off to the Minneapolis rescue workers

The thread about bad jobs got me thinking. I have to say, I am grateful for those who have the courage and the endurance to keep working on the river recovery efforts. It must be a hellish job, but their willingness to look beyond that and do what has to be done deserves our thanks and praise. I am not sure I could do what they do.

The recent grandstanding by Giuliani about outdoing the 9-11 resuce workers is shameful beyond description, when you think about their sacrifices.

That same dedication and strength of character is on display right now in Minneapolis. More than a week later, they press forward.
