Oh damn, I eat this shit.....
I bought some Mexi-Fries from TacoTime yesterday. I never got around to eating them. They sat in the bag for about 24 hours and this is what happened to the bag. This is the bag that was on the outside of the other bag they came in. I think this is why it always feels like someone is sitting on my chest.

1. I know what you mean.
I've been on a health-kick for the past four months, eating lots of fruit and veg, exercising and laying off the junk food. I've lost 30lbs and have never felt better. Last week, as a little celebration, I went to Jack-in-the-Box and got an Ultimate Cheeseburger and some onion rings. I have never felt so sick in my life. It wasn't food poisioning, because I've had that a few times and know what it's like. It was just my body going "WTF?!?" and letting me know it was not pleased.

I think I'll have to plan future junk food excursions more carefully.

5. I did the same when I cut out uber-sugar about five years ago.
If I consume a piece of cake, a soda pop, piece of pie or candy, it has to be freaking deliberate. 'Cuz I know I will get a sugar hangover and I'm NOT going to like it.

4. Ah ... The Simpsons...King Size Homer episode, where he tries to gain weight so
he can work from home. Dr. Nick Riviera helps:

Dr. Nick: If you're not sure about something, rub it against a piece of paper. If the paper turns clear, it's your window to weight gain. Bye bye, everybody.

6. We don't have Taco Time here.
Too bad - I'd try the Mexi-Fries at least once!

My guilty pleasure is queso flameado (sp?) from local Mexican restaurants (melty cheese with pepper/onion/chorizo options, served with tortillas). That stuff is amazing. I have actually been doing a restaurant-by-restaurant comparison in my local scene, just to make sure I'm getting a nice cross section of available types. My doc will not approve. :-)
