3. I met him in '87 in Dallas.

He and I were both picking up our girlfriends from aerobics class. His girlfriend, who later became his wife I think, was my then girlfriend's best friend. Shortly thereafter, she and I broke up. I guess I shouldn't have told him he had a hot girlfriend. :rofl: Real down to earth guy.

4. My sister was at his last concert, at Alpine Valley.

She called me the next day to say how great it was, and I mentioned that he was dead. She hadn't heard yet.

What a great loss.
