Poll question: Does your supervisor demean your job?
Calling it a necessary evil, time-consuming, needlessly complex, et cetera?

And then wonder why morale is so low? :D

1. I have an incredible management team at my job...
Unfortunately, my friends in a different department aren't so lucky and have exactly what you describe.

3. I am the supervisor.
:P

My boss does a darn good job making me feel appreciated, so I'm lucky in that regard.

5. No
But he does make frequent reference to my predecessor being an outstanding employee who knew everything, did everything right, and worked lots of time off the clock.
"When (former employee) was here..."
I have since learned that the former employee was not really the golden guy that my boss made him out to be. My boss has even commented that perhaps I am better now than he was in certain aspects.

8. No. My manager is a tyrant and an asshole
But I do have to say he has never treated me personally badly or had anything but praise for the job I do.
