Golden Globe awards
I've got the "Golden Globes Awards" on the tube right now, and I'm not going to actually watch it, but I was watching to see what the stars are wearing.

Suffice to say, from the women, lots of "Golden Globes" mostly in view. :P

75. Serkis wasn't nominated...
By the way, it's nice to see others share my habit of making "golden globes" comments about some of the actresses and their alleged clothing. I think I was driving Dominique somewhat nuts by the end of the evening (although she was the one who nearly hit the floor when they introduced the teenager who was named "Miss Golden Globes").

27. Earth to Renee Zellwegger - DO NOT LOSE YOUR WEIGHT!!!
After watching Anoeretic Renee these past couple of years, I have to say she looked fabulous tonight. She's probably in the middle of filming the Bridget Jones sequel which requires her to put on the extra weight.

I thought she looked beautiful. These past couple of years after she lost 40 lbs from the first BJ movie (in which she gained 25lbs for - you do the math), it's nice to see her healthy looking again. When she was too skinny her face looked horrible and blotchy red. But she looked great tonight.

But I still think Maria Bello deserved it for "The Cooler", but that's just me!!!

30. To illustrate
The current Renee:

I look very similar figure-wise (and a little otherwise) to the "Fat" Renee (and I have to fight to stay this way). While women of all body types can be beautiful and that includes very slender women, please mass-media conglomerates, don't tell me I'm fat and ugly unless I'm a size 2. I'm critical enough of myself thank you.

79. My husband saw her last night, and said,
"Wow, she's filled out some. She looks FEMALE now!" He's never found her remotely attractive before. She looks downright cute with the extra 15 pounds; I always thought she was weird-looking when she was stick-thin. Coathangers do nothing for me. She looks lovely with a little flesh covering her bones.

Our society has the WEIRDEST standards for female beauty. "Must weigh less than 90 pounds, yet have D-cups." Yeah, that happens all the time in nature.
