Sigh, we have no electricity and my computer |

battery has less than an hour to go. So keep me company DU'ers until it dies. What did you do in your lifetime that you are really proud of? I'll go first. I actually helped an old man, a neighbor, to keep from becoming homeless. I was able to get him the help he needed before he died and it was in a hospital, not under a bridge. I wish I could do it for all the desparate people I see.

We also have someone who comes for 6 hours a day, because I work. My mother probably would have died if she had been put in a nursing home before now -- she suffers from chronic clinical depression, anxiety disorder, agoraphobia and somatization disorder -- and would not deal well with a different environment.
