Where's the snow?

In St Paul, MN, the weather forecasters were all running around like a gaggle of Chicken Littles on crack, saying how we were going to get a foot of snow, starting Sunday afternoon (4pm or so) and continuing all through Monday.

Well, it's 10PM CST.

Ain't no snow fallin' yet.

Sheesh, if these dimbulbs had the same boss I've got, they'd all be as homeless as half of America's IT workers. x( And unlike the IT workers, the weatherfolk deserve to be.

A coating of ice, a couple inches of sleet in the middle, and a little
snow on top. It's not supposed to melt before morning rush hour. I can't wait.

we've already recieved 5-6 inches of snow since last night. You can have it if you desire it that bad. :evilgrin:

we were predicted to get 50 degree temps on Monday, with any expected winter weather on sunday m e l t i n g away....

we've now got almost 5" of snow and ice, more expected overnite, more expected tomorrow, with highs maybe freezing...the governor has declared a state of emergency, 2000+ wrecks in the state by like noon today, schools, govt offices closed...

I vote that ALL weathercasters have to deliver their weather report outside with a full view of the present conditions. If they can get THAT right, maybe then they can forecast...
