Fellow fans of THE COSBY SHOW: Tune into Nick @ Nite this week.
From 9:30 on, Nick @ Nite is running all-night, every night marathons of Bill Cosby's enormously succesful sitcom Mon-Fri. I love this show, so it's cool with me, though I'm a little peeved that they're currently running the later episodes with the whole Denise-Martin-Olivia thing. I liked the show better without Olivia, to be honest.

1. I do too
I think they jumped the shark after Olivia.

The Cosby Show was where I got my first introduction to so many jazz greats. Bill Cosby did such a wonderful job of incorporating both them and their music into the program; boosting music sales and giving the musicians much-needed cash from their appearances. I have always admired him for that.

2. He is a very good "jazz ambassador" indeed.
