Spear Fishing

[Help me help Earth]

This summer I've spent a lot of time skin diving in an old quarry near my home. I see plenty of decent sized bass, and I think I can wrangle a free dinner instead of just getting fun and exercise. I just got back from Lowes and rigged myself a budget Hawaiian sling out of pvc pipe, latex tubing, a hose clamp and a steel dowel:



I've successfully spent the last half hour launching pencils around my living room. Tomorrow I shall spend many a happy hour missing bass, snapping the band, maybe shooting myself in the foot and then stealing a picture off of the net to pretend I got something.
