. . . since I always like to know about these things myself.

I found it mentioned at the AVG Anti-Virus Homepage.

"Added detection of IRC-Worm/Petch, IRC-Worm/Fagot, IRC-Worm/Fobot, I-Worm/Mimail.I and new variants of JS/Psyme . . . "

It looks like AVG offers both a free edition and a trial version of the full edition. One of those should be enough to get you cleaned up.

A few days ago I had the joy of receiving my first virus. A mysterious fellow called JS/PSYME-C.
AVG cleared it and I have since de-installed Kazaa, which I strongly suspect was responsible.

lost the link to the forum, but that's all there was. I didn't find anything on the Kazaa idea tho -


AVG 6.0 is the free version
