"Just to see if it's as bad as the first one" she totally liked the first one btw but she won't admit it.

6. that's funny. Even in today's SF Chron they did a piece on it |
|
did you happen to see it? It was on the front page of the entertainment section.
They start out the article saying: "Is it as good as the first one? And does it matter?" It goes on to say, "...and the answers are, 'Not really' and 'Are you kidding? Of course not.'"
Bottom line: it's gonna be watched....by a LOT of kids in the 9-12 yr old age range, and many others (probably including me, I'm afraid to say)
:D

2. As I posted a few days ago, I listened to the first one - what a piece of shit. |
|
Even in America's dumbed down ignorant culture of celebrating the most banal and mediocre shit ever produced by human beings, I can't believe that High School Musical didn't go the way of New Coke and every advertising campaign that Burger King has managed to execute.
:puke:
I can't believe there's a number 2.
If ever there were a sign of a coming battle of Armageddon and end of the world, this is truly it.

8. You obviously don't have a daughter who is in the 9-12 yr old range |
|
:D
truly, I think the success of HSM even took the bigwigs of Disney by surprise. And, as the article in today's SF Chronicle so aptly put it:
"It's safe to say the malls of America will be ghost towns Friday night as every tweener sits home glued to the tube."

10. My 7 year and 11 year old cousins have been counting down since last Saturday. |
|
Edited on Thu Aug-16-07 07:16 PM by CarolinaPeridot
They are sisters both with Direct TV boxes in each of their rooms. Disney channel east and west.
Our 14 year old male cousin told the 7 year old that High School Musical 2 was cancelled because Corbin Bleu got shot. I thought it was so funny lol. As mean as that is ,he was serious when he said it.

We set the DVR last week - Little MB is soooooo excited.
I was obliged to purchase the People magazine High School Musical Special Edition a couple of weeks ago...the pictures are pasted all over the closet door in her room.
I can so relate.
