Call me a sap, but I am so in love with Moon River
I start waltzing to myself whenever I hear it play on my playlist.

And damn, it makes me cry with sentimental tears of beauty like a mother seeing her child being married.

1. My huckleberry friend.
Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.

2. That's really cool.
It does not have the same effect on me, but other songs do, so I understand.

3. Audrey Hepburn sang it herself in "Breakfast at Tiffany's." No dubbing with some other singer.
And she gives a wistful, elegant performance of it. Also Andy Williams did a recording of it in the 1960s which still sounds great. That was one of my favorite songs as a little kid. (That and the "Batman" theme and "These Boots Were Made for Walking."
