my van was just stolen from my drivewway 955GMR with du sticker stuff thrown in the alley.

That seems kind of far west--west of 41, no? I guess I think of that as a safe area, but then, I don't spend much time in the city these days.

What did the cops say?

a neighbor found a bunch of stuff thrown from the van--carx stuff that id'd me from a van that was driving like it was stolen! crap. I have to be at work at 8am. not likely. we're right here!

no call from the police. I expect it's trashed somewhere. Filled the tank yesterday. It was my dad's van. My mom gave it to me when he died in '03. Not much of value 'cept all my Outpost and HalfPrice bags. That and a huge bag of discontinued silk draperies from where I work. dammit. I don't know how I'm getting to work. I'll take a shower. This is so depressing. I kept waking up all night hoping it wasn't true.
