and my second impression is that anyone who thinks "life is a bitch" needs to quit bitching and do something about it.

That said I probably would not object to a simple "Life is a bitch" bumpersticker without any picture of a woman and NOT paired with any such picture. Sometimes life is horrible and it's okay to complain about it. It is just rude and sexist to single out a woman politician in that way. It's that sexist cliche, all powerful women are bitches. That's a lie.

We're raised from a very young age to be "nice" It really takes a strong and intelligent woman to not be cowed by societal pressures. I'm so sick of "mainstream American" ideals.
