Elvis odds and ends
I've been perusing youtube in preference to sleeping and have found a few pretty cool little snippets, most unreleased, of Elvis playing around, mostly in rehearsal in the early '70s. For anyone who enjoys a confluence of good music and humor, here are some of the goodies:

Outtakes and such from the 1968 TV Special ("showed 'em what a band would sound like with a swingin' little mothergrabber")

More from 1968

Love Me (1970 rehearsal in LA)

That's All Right (more rehearsal)

You Don't Have To Say You Love Me (1970 rehearsal in LA, featuring Gymnast Elvis)

Polk Salad Annie (1970 rehearsal in Vegas)

Mary In The Morning (1970 rehearsal in Vegas -- "you can't say 'big ass' on this film")

Oh Happy Day (off-the-cuff jam in the midst of rehearsals)

LA rehearsals in March '72 and on tour in April and in Madison Square Garden in June ("I was buried in a beaver...oh, you sneaky bastards....What a friend we have in Jesus...")

Love Me (on tour, April '72)

During rehearsals in Vegas, late July '72, with a giant tie

Elvis leaves the building

2. Some funny stuff in there
The tie thing cracks me up. Even though the sycophants laughed at every single thing he did, I think he was a pretty funny dude anyway.
