Reply All Wars - I think some of the people I work with are imbeciles

OK, the HR manager sent an email to everyone in the company asking if they wanted to participate in a focus group to discuss ideas about better teamwork and cooperation among employees. Only 10 people could participate. When there was only one slot left she sent another email to let everyone know.

So J responded by REPLY ALL that she wanted to participate.

Then P sends a REPLY ALL addressing J saying "J did you really want to REPLY ALL that you wanted to participate? Please do not REPLY ALL."

Then K, defending J, sends a REPLY ALL saying "P did you really want to REPLY ALL to J telling her not to REPLY ALL? Please do not REPLY ALL"

Then J sends another REPLY ALL to P saying "Yes, I did want to REPLY ALL because I think when there is good news we should share it"

Then P sends another REPLY ALL to K saying " Thanks. I don't need to stop work so I can read all these email messages. Stop now."

My fingers were just itching to join in the REPLY ALL War - this is the 3rd time people have had these public battles about using REPLY ALL and it totally cracks me up.

The funniest part was it all started with an email about fostering teamwork.:rofl:

2. No, P is not a very nice woman - she did not mean to be

funny at all - that's why it's so funny.

The last REPLY ALL War was about wishing someone a Happy Birthday. It's crazy.
